Recently, God has been revealing to me that everything is NOT always what it seems. So often we look at other people's life and think, “WOW they seem so happy” or “They have it all”. They have the perfect job, house, car, husband, if only I could have that. But, what God has been revealing to me is that you don't know what Hell they may have going on behind closed doors.
God is funny. Most times, the very things that I am praying for He won't give it to me right away(Only In His own time). But, what He will do is start to bless my friends and family with those exact things (This has taught me to be humble and how to be genuinely happy for others). He always puts in my spirit, "I'm saving the best for last". I love when He drops little nuggets in my spirit like that. He is the best friend a girl could have! He always comes through and proves himself faithful and trustworthy.
I say this to say, don't envy or idol what other people seem to have because you have NO IDEA what HELL they may be going through behind closed doors. Idol God and then all things will fall into place for you. (Matthew 6:33)
I love your posts. You remind me so much of myself . I experience the same things you go through. It has taught me patience and how to genuinely be happy for others when they get blessed with the things that I desire !
