So I recently became an owner of the sweetest lil shih tzu, Daisy. However, every morning while I am getting dressed for work she goes under my bed and hides because she knows its almost time for me to leave. So, to stop this from happening, I leave her in the living room while I am in my bedroom putting on my clothes. Needless to say, she doesn't like that much. Every morning she scratches the door and whines. So this morning when I come out, I tell her " Honey you put some much unnecessary energy into whining when you know momma would not leave you out here forever. I coming right back." That was such an ah ha moment. God said to me right then. That's the same thing with me. Why do you whine and complain like, I am not coming back. I am not going to leave you there forever. Just sit and be patient. God can use anything or anyone to speak to us! Love our relationship. Have a Great Weekend!

Lately, ALOT has been going on. God has really been working on me from the inside out. So to say the least it has been HARD. But who said that His way was easy? I want to began to write more here. Irony of Affirmation
We can't truly love until we don't need it. We have to be not just full of love, but over flowing with Gods love. If we are not overflowing with love we will just need more and more of it to be satisfied. Which no human can ultimately satisfy. Only God can. Receive Gods love and pour out His overflow onto others.
Jesus died on the cross so that we don't have to need anyone to affirm us. The ultimate sacrifice. That's what love is anyways (if we are doing it Gods way). If we are not willing to sacrifice or risk then we are not ready to love. We have to be willing to take a risk that the love we give will not be reciprocated. Love and fear don't go hand in hand. We all fear and that won't change, but when we operate in love we do it despite the fear we may feel on the inside.
We have to get to the place where Gods love is enough and are content regardless of our circumstances. When we don't need the love of others that is when our "cup" will overflow with His love and we can finally pour out His love.

Crying to God
I am learning that we have to put ALL of our expectations in God. He wants us to come to Him for everything. Sometimes we just need to have a cry session with God. Instead of crying and whining to people that can never meet all of our expectations.
Learning to put our full expectations in God through prayer is essential. Hard but essential. However, when we do this we have to leave it up to God to decide what and whom he decides to bless us through. Doing this will allow us to live the life of peace God intended us to.
Prayer and spending quality time with Him is vital.

Everything isn't what it SEEMS!!!
Recently, God has been revealing to me that everything is NOT always what it seems. So often we look at other people's life and think, “WOW they seem so happy” or “They have it all”. They have the perfect job, house, car, husband, if only I could have that. But, what God has been revealing to me is that you don't know what Hell they may have going on behind closed doors.
God is funny. Most times, the very things that I am praying for He won't give it to me right away(Only In His own time). But, what He will do is start to bless my friends and family with those exact things (This has taught me to be humble and how to be genuinely happy for others). He always puts in my spirit, "I'm saving the best for last". I love when He drops little nuggets in my spirit like that. He is the best friend a girl could have! He always comes through and proves himself faithful and trustworthy.
I say this to say, don't envy or idol what other people seem to have because you have NO IDEA what HELL they may be going through behind closed doors. Idol God and then all things will fall into place for you. (Matthew 6:33)

New Year's Blessings
Happy New Year!
Here is a listing of 2012 quotes that I took down in the notepad of my Iphone throughout the year. I do not have as many as last year because this year I began journaling a lot more and spending time with God.

When u talk to other people about ur problems instead of God it causes u to have ungodly wisdom poured into you. So b/c what they are telling u may not b of God and what His desires are it can cause the problem most times to elevate instead of defusing it. When problems, hurt or disappointments come get on your face before God. Let Him speak to you through the Holy Spirit and give u peace. Then Stand on His promises and rest peace knowing that Godly wisdom will be brought to my life. Thank God I do not have to worry because God is taking care of all of my wants and needs! Everything is working out How he planned it. ME
Don't get made when God answers my prayers and it's not everything I envisioned. I need to B content with what he has blessed me with and anything lacking is for my good. What use to be or what I imagined may not b what God wants right now. Learn to accept that and praise Him for the good He is working out on my behalf. ME
So be truly glad. There is wonderful joy ahead, even though you have to endure many trials for a little while. (1 Peter 1:6 NLT)
